Flight training is a major club activity and is regularly scheduled throughout the year. The HSC currently has five FAA-certificated flight instructors. Our SSA Instructors administer the SSA Badge program, which is intended to motivate pilots to develop their general soaring and cross country skills and knowledge. Occasional ground schools and badge preparation clinics are held as required.
