To insert an image, you must first attach the image to the page. Do this by clicking on the "Attachments" on the Tools Menu to the right. Make sure you click on the one under "Page" and not under "Menu". Once you have "browsed" to the picture on your hard disk, added a comment, and checked the "Hide" box, then press the "Submit" button. There is a Link at the top of the page that says "View Page / Edit Page" that will take you back to the page you to which attached the image file. Now, double click on the page you want to edit and then place the cursor on the line that you want the picture to appear.
Then, click on the
The default dimensions will be the actual dimensions of the selected image. By modify these values you can fix the dimensions to be something different. For example, I could change the 300 (which is pixels) to 150 and with the "constrained proportions" box checked, the Dialog box would compute the other value to be 100. The Vertical space and Horizontal space boxes provide space around the image. The image to the right has Vertical 0 and Horizontal 10 and the next image has values of Vertical 20, Horizontal 10. You can set a border with the "Border" value. The value is the border width in pixels. A value of zero provides no border as in the images above. The image to the right has a border value of 2. Don't know what the Class and Style boxes are either; probably border color, etc.
As you select different options on the "Appearance" tab, the little image of a tree will move around in the dialoge box to indicate what the selected alignment will achieve. Notice in the example to the right, "Right" alignment was selected and the image of the tree is to the right with the sample text wrapping to the right and under the image.
The "Advanced" tab has a cool feature that let's you change the image based on the mouse going over the image and leaving the image. Try that on the image to the right. Finally, When you are done, Click on "Insert" at the bottom of the window and the picture has been inserted. If you don't like where it is, then "right click" on the image (while in the editor) and select edit image properties. Play with the Alignment until you get what you like.
