Editor Notes
Start here for a flash tutorial for the Editme Editor.
Editing is Easy
In most cases, to edit a page you simply double-click on the page and that page will be opened up in the editor mentioned above. If you want to create a page, click on "New" which is immediately under "Page" on the tools menu to the right.
Text editing is easy, you simply type what you want and then format it with the formatting buttons on the top of the editor. Much of what you know from MS Word editing seems to work.
TIP: Use Shift+Enter instead of Enter to create a line break. Line breaks allow a new line of text to be created without a space above it.
Cutting and pasting inside the editor is straight forward and the usual shortcut keys like Ctrl-X, Ctrl-C, and Ctrl-V work just fine--even Ctrl-Z works to Undo changes (before you Save the page). However, cutting a pasting from other sources, e.g. websites, documents, spreadsheets, is much trickier and can cause problems. Click here for an explanation of various editor's paste icons and there use.
Inserting images is relatively easy. Note: you cannot simply copy an image to the clipboard and then paste it onto a page. You must first attach the image to the page. Click here for notes about inserting images.
Creating and Editing Tables are even more challenging. Click here to learn more. functionality described at the Annabelle Website does not apply.
Back <--- Note: You can add a back link like this anywhere you want. Simply create a link and put "javascript:history.back()" in for the Link URL.
